Bio
H. Paul Himes, Jr. has been a practicing Colorado attorney since 1977. He is a graduate of the University of Denver, with a B.A., and the University of Denver College of Law, with a J.D. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Colorado, the United States District Court for Colorado, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Himes practiced for several years as in house counsel for a Denver real estate development and investment firm including landlord/tenant matters, negotiating and closing commercial real estate transactions, assisting in real estate litigation matters, and otherwise advising in management and ownership matters. From 1987 into 2020, he was an associate attorney with Aisenberg and Kaplan, P.C., and then the Law Offices of Bennett S. Aisenberg, P.C. During those many years, he worked in many aspects of a general law practice, including residential and commercial real estate; small estate planning and administration matters; general commercial litigation of many types, personal injury, and legal and medical malpractice, including assisting in civil trial and arbitration matters; and assisting in representation in matters before the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation.
Paul has known and worked with Marc Kaplan in many matters over the years and is currently an associate attorney with Marc Kaplan assisting in a wide variety of civil litigation and family law matters. He has been married to his wife, Beth, for 39 years, and together they have 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
